New for 2019, East Coast Dyes releases their Carbon Pro 2 Defense shaft, the next iteration of their wildly successful first Pro-level composite shaft built for the shutdown defender.
Designed to perform at the highest level, the Carbon Pro 2 Defense is stronger, lighter, and more durable than its predecessor, and features a new Impact+ layer that provides optimal strength without adding bulk. With a lower kickpoint, the Defense shaft allows for tougher checks on the defensive side of the ball, and quick ball release and movement when pushing transition and setting up the offense.
On a 10-point scale, the Carbon Pro 2 Defense comes in at a Flex 3, which provides less flex on shots and quick passes, however increases durability and control while still allowing the player to feel the benefit of a carbon shaft that flexes for added torque on shots and passes.
With a newly improved durable texture and long-lasting paint, the Carbon Pro 2 keeps its sleek, clean design for longer than the original Carbon, letting your play do the talking. East Coast Dyes also used an optimized shape and bottom hand texture on the Carbon Pro 2 for increased comfort, control, and strength.
